10 tips to healthy shaving

Shaving the bear properly is very essential for healthy skin and to avoid unnecessary cuts.  Here are the 10 tips to healthy shaving that are most important to be taken into consideration while shaving so as to make it a pleasant experience :

1). Wash your face with warm water for 2-3 minutes as it will help soften the bear and helps avoids irritation or razor burns.

2). Use adequate good quality shaving cream and make good lather hence gives good lubrication and reduces friction thereby making shaving smoother.

3). Always use a good quality, Sharp and Clean Razor. A dull razor is one of the contributing factors to razor burn and shaving rash.

4). Rinse razor in hot water after every stroke.

5). During shaving use light, gentle and short strokes.

6). Pull your skin tight to help prevent cuts.

7). Shave with the grain i.e in the direction on hair growth because doing otherwise poses high risk of cutting off a hair below skin level, causing an ingrown hair (razor bumps) – the whisker grows into the surrounding tissue instead of out of the pore, resulting in inflammation and possible infection.

8). Don’t run fast, be slow careful of the shaving process as the factor of inattention could lead into unnecessary cuts.

9). After completing shave rinse face with cold water to help seal skin pores to feel skin soft and smooth.

10). Don’t forget to use standard good quality moisturizing after shave lotion for healthy skin.
